Well, this is more than a few pictures. Ruth and I drove to Florida to visit the Thompsons a couple weeks ago. My brother generously let us stay at his beautiful condo on Cinnamon Beach. Ruth handled the drive remarkably well for a 10 month old. She slept most of the time and spent the rest watching Curious George. For the whole week every time she woke up or we got into the car she would ask for the monkey show with an, "ooh, ooh, aah, aah." So cute! She loved walking along the sandy beach and into the ocean waves. And I could hardly get her out of the pool, especially when cousins Oliver or Victoria were there with us.
I really enjoyed seeing the building progress of my parent's dream home. It is gorgeous. We can't wait until it is complete so we can go visit a few times a year. I took pictures and will post more later. Daniel flew out to meet us at the end of the week. We spent the weekend in Savannah before driving home again. All in all it was a wonderful trip!
