Our trip to Vermont

Our trip to Vermont over 4th of July week was fantastic! We had a so much fun with Daniel's brother and parents, and of course spending summer time with our whole family.

Ruthy fell in love with the Vermont Carr family dog, Sammy. She now loves dogs and says, "daw-daw. Whoof, whoof," any time she hears or sees one.

We enjoyed several hikes, including the Robert Frost interpretive trail.

Even a cool Vermont summer couldn't keep these cousins out of the pool.

Ruthy got her first taste of Ben & Jerry's ice cream. I couldn't get the sample cup away from her mouth. I think she liked it.

We took a bus to Rock of Ages quarry and tried our luck at granite bowling.

We enjoyed walking around the Shelburne Museum and the way it captured Vermont history.

Finally, Joseph led the parade in Montpelier on July 3rd and we enjoyed sitting together during the 4th of July parade in Warren, VT.

Family Pictures

Our home feels so much more complete with family pictures hanging on the wall.
