Ruth has been so good this week! In three days she has gone from a diaper-loving baby to a potty-trained-underwear-loving master of the potty. Zero accidents. We are so proud of her and grateful for her enthusiasm.

Happy Halloween 2016
Happy Halloween! Somehow we lost Ruth's costume last minute (she was going to be the cutest little mouse you've ever seen) and had to come up with a new one as we were walking out the door. Lucky for us, Daniel was not using his Halloween hat and hair due to a last-minute trip to Pennsylvania.
Our neighborhood is a tricker-treater's dream. Almost every house participating, lots of cute kids dressed up with their parents. RJ and L spent the evening with friends while I took R and T around. We had so much fun.

Tessie's 1st birthday
Tessie turned 1 in September. We were very happy to have lots of family join in on the birthday bbq we had in her honor (G'ma and G'pa Thompson, Grammy and G'pa Carr, Debbie, Oliver, Teddy, Summer, and Aurelia). She is just as perfect as ever. Happy, sweet disposition, easy going. She walks everywhere and loves to explore every nook and cranny. Three teeth, baby-blue eyes and lots of white hair. She's the best!
CTR activities we all wish Grandma and Grandpa Thompson would plan...
I know that is a funny name for a blog post, but every time we go to a fall festival Daniel, I + kids have so much fun that we secretly (and openly) wish that these activities would be recreated at Camp Thompson Ranch for all the extended family to enjoy. This time I took pictures of the activities to share... just in case they like any of the ideas, too.
A "hippity hop race"
Bean bag toss
Outdoor dining, complete with homemade table, surrounded by lighting and hay
Duck race
Fire pit and homemade benches
Silly signs and photo-ops
Steer roping
Hay ride
And of course the pumpkin patch
Train rides (pulled by a tractor)
Corn box
Outdoor movie
