On Saturday, we hiked with the two little ones on our backs up to the Squaw Peak lookout trail, starting from near our home. We estimate a vertical climb of about 2,500 feet on our route, which was a northerly route, and not the better known Squaw Peak trail up Rock Canyon.
If Wendy looks less tired than me, it's only because the photos are accurate.
We went to the park for FHE to play croquet, but we discovered we only had two wickets. No problem, we made up our own version that dispensed with taking turns, among other adjustments. We can happily report that only one family member was dropped to the ground after being hit by a ball.
